These are the trustworthy places to follow EthrA, report playtest bugs, and talk with other players. (Links last checked: September 22, 2026.)
Official Discord
The official server is EthrA Official Community, reachable through Discord's public Server Discovery page: discord.com/servers/ethra-815997347443900457. Both the developer's website and Steam announcements point there. It is the best channel for development updates, playtest discussion, bug feedback, and general questions. Prefer this discovery link over short invite links passed around in comments — invite links expire and can be spoofed.
EthrA Reddit community
The subreddit r/EthrA was linked directly from an official YouTube video description, which makes it a developer-linked community. It is not confirmed as developer-operated, and posts there are player content: useful for experiences and news leads, but not official statements. Verify anything important against official channels.
Steam announcements and discussions
The Steam Community hub hosts official playtest announcements and developer replies. Developer replies there are first-party information; ordinary user posts and reviews are not. For playtest scheduling specifically, the playtest guide collects what is currently confirmed.
Reporting bugs and sharing feedback
Use the developers' own channels, in this order:
- The in-game feedback entry, if the build includes one.
- The official Steam discussions and announcements.
- The feedback channels inside the official Discord.
The developers are a two-person team; they read feedback but cannot reply to every message.
Community safety
- Check domains and server identities before joining anything.
- Never share account details with anyone who messages you first.
- Treat any request for payment, account access, or file downloads as a scam attempt until proven otherwise.
- Do not download "trainers", cracks, or playtest "access bypass" tools from community posts — they are malware, not shortcuts.
Where to watch official media
The official YouTube channel is linked from Steam's social links and aggregated on the community-linked resources above — along with the Kickstarter campaign page, which remains the authoritative source for campaign status.
